Cuadernos de Cultura Alimentaria is a series of publications edited and released by Rosetta restaurant and the Independent Research Institute.

Chef Elena Reygadas mentions about these publications:

These Cuadernos de cultura alimentaria (Food Culture Notebooks), focusing on health, the environment, and our relationship with food, aim to address some of the most pressing discussions related to food from the restaurant industry. Above all, they aim to highlight the close connection between food culture (what we eat and how we eat - the social relationship we have with food), health (of both humans and non-human beings on Earth), and the environment (the surroundings in which life unfolds). In other words, they propose to view food as a vital act that encompasses the biological, social, economic, political, and cultural aspects.

The design brief was to create a series of simple and easily recognizable publications. It was important to emphasize that this series is bilingual, and to make this evident, the cover was divided in two - one half in Spanish and the other in English, which was also repeated with the text inside.

Another important aspect of the brief was to keep production costs low, so we opted to use only one ink, enabling us to craft editorial pieces that prioritize the content itself.
