Mezcal vs. Pulque
Editorial Design
2022
Versión Español
This publication is a journey that guides the viewer through the span of two years during which Rirkrit Tiravanija encountered and learned from the master potters of the Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Puebla regions.
A journey in which he creates pieces that explore and experiment with the materials, while at the same time attempting to preserve the ancestral knowledge of his hosts.
The design of this publication aims to recreate the magic of the exhibition, like a visual memory that helps you revisiting the artwork and catch those little details you might've missed.
The images will always take the spotlight; the design acts like a bridge, guiding you deep into the heart of the pieces, letting you immerse yourself completely.
